Julia wondered how long it would take the little brats to notice their
darling Chihuahua was missing from the menagerie. It had been an
accident, really, the things are so hard to see and it is quite
difficult to combine driving with smiling and pouting at the latest
student gardner. In fact, she hadn't realised she had brought about its
demise until she had returned later in the day to find it lying cold and
stiff under the rose bush by the side of the garage.
